Who are we?

Since 1962, the 1st Eaton Socon Scout group has helped hundreds of young people in St Neots to develop the skills, attitudes and most importantly the friendships to help them succeed in life.

Welcome to 1st Eaton Socon Scout Group

The fun and engaging activities we get up to every week give our young people the chance to learn new skills as well as introducing them to the big issues of the day – global and local – from climate change to local foodbanks and show them what they can do.

We love passing on an appreciation of the outdoors to our young beavers, cubs and scouts, giving them the chance to create memories that’ll last them forever – like making dens, camping out with their friends and telling tall tales around campfires.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
